Faculty: Stephen E. Moore

Stephen E. Moore, J.D., University of Washington; M.A. (Speech), Washington State University; B.A., Communications, Washington State University; Fellow, School of Theology, University of the South. Stephen is Vicar of All Saints', Bellevue, and the judge in Lynnwood Municipal Court. He is a graduate of DSOMAT and has taught a variety of courses here since 1992. Steve also teaches colloquia in law and literature and classes in judicial ethics for several judicial organizations. He is a four-time deputy to General Convention. He was elected by the House of Bishops to membership on the General Board of Examining Chaplains which writes and administers the General Ordination Examination, and has twice chaired its subcommittee on ethics and moral theology. He is the author of “Church Words: Origins and Meanings” (Cincinnati: Forward Movement Publications, 1996).
