Faculty: Peter Pitarys

Peter Pitarys, M.A. in Pastoral Studies, School of Theology and Ministry, Seattle University; M.B.A., Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania; B.A., Amherst College. Peter conducted a study of pastoral care practices among 55 parishes in the Diocese of Olympia. The result of this research was used as the basis for a workshop related to organizing pastoral care efforts at the parish level. Peter provides pastoral care consulting services to churches in the Diocese. He has served as convener for the pastoral care network at St. Thomas Church, Medina, as well as serving in a number of other ministry activities at that parish. Peter is a retired business consultant.
