Spiritual Growth 105 Celtic Spirituality
Winter Quarter 2009
Class Time: 1:10 - 4:00 p.m.
Instructor: Mr. Tom Cashman
At the close of the Constantinian Era, the Celtic Christian communities of the fifth to the seventh centuries faced the challenge of maintaining their worldview and values. We will not only examine the worldview and values of that part of our Anglican heritage, but also explore how their values of servant leadership, simplicity, mysticism, diversity, ecological interdependence, inclusiveness, honoring the feminine and certain models of community speak to the church and world today.
