Liberation Theology takes all matters of faith and life as the objects of salvation and the "matter" of theology. This course will dance across the tops of social analysis, classical Liberation Theology, Feminist, Womanist, Black American, post-colonial and emerging two thirds world theological developments. Emphasis will be on the importance of action and reflection as we do theology and imagine justice. An opportunity will be provided for each student to develop a project involving his or her self in the work of the Church toward social justice.
