The Christian Story 101 • The Beginnings: The Hebrew Scriptures (Selections)

This course will deal with the following selected themes and narratives from the Hebrew Scriptures: different Canons, order and structure of books; language structure and linguistic comparisons; the Torah and the book of Deuteronomy; Prophecy and Amos; the Book of Job; Genesis and the Matriarchs; early prophets Deborah, Elijah and Nathan; Lady Wisdom; Hebrew poetry, Song of Songs and Psalms. The textbook will offer an overview of the entire corpus of the Old Testament.
